Shary Adams, AIA, ACHA, EDAC, LEED AP
Shary has more than 30 years of design experience specializing in healthcare planning and architecture. Her expertise is in evidence-based design and facilitating visioning sessions with leading clinicians and administrators, creating innovative solutions for some of healthcare’s most complex issues, from mental healthcare resources to patient safety. She leads integrated healthcare design teams and mental and behavioral health innovations and design. Her past projects include inpatient and outpatient behavioral health facilities as well as safe emergency department crisis spaces as well as broader healthcare design of surgery and ambulatory facilities. Over the years, she has been a keynote speaker international conferences and symposia such as Healthcare Design and the Center for Health design, been published in Health Facilities Management, New York Times and other national publications and is a board-certified American College of Healthcare Architect.
