Stronger. Faster. More focused. These words echo in Under Armour’s mission statement and brand story as a company obsessed with making athletes better. The Stadium at The House our team designed with Under Armour is both at the heart of their HQ and a physical testament to the company’s mission.
The state-of-the-art facility features a multi-dimensional field ready for regulation high school football, NCAA and high school soccer and lacrosse, an eight-lane, 400-meter competition track and seating for 1,400 fans. Day-to-day, Under Armour uses the venue to test its products in the pursuit of new levels of athlete performance. Infused with leading-edge technology, the facility can track and measure athletes' performance in real time. The venue is also just footsteps away from Under Armour’s product innovation labs, allowing their teams to test, refine and empower the athletes it serves.
The Stadium will provide future opportunity to hosted sports competitions. Its design echoes both Under Armour’s and Baltimore’s history with exposed raw materials that exude grit and intensity. The building façade takes visitors on a “journey” as a metaphor for the company’s incredible journey to become a leader in athletic performance. The venue also boasts a remarkably unique solar canopy that serves as an elegant visual icon while also providing power for the facility.
The Stadium is an integral piece of Under Armour’s expanded campus on Baltimore Peninsula, positioning the company to better empower athletes and the community long into the future.
