We're thrilled to share Architectural Record has published an article about our renovation of New York University’s Bobst Library Special Collections online and in its November issue.

There are not many places in this world where one can browse both the evolution of the feminist punk youth movement Riot Grrl in the 1990s and the lives of North American volunteers in the Spanish Civil War. The Bobst Library Special Collections is such a place.

Our design of the two-floor space embraces this unique and often radical dynamic, as well as the building’s location in downtown New York City and the strong architectural character of Bobst Library itself. Uniquely conceived spaces include a reading room, gallery, a learning are and a light-filled entrance vestibule.
