Mike Glaros

If you ask Mike, architecture is embedded in the fabric of some of the world’s most beautiful places. With a love of travel and an appreciation of intricacy, Mike approaches design by extracting beauty that’s not always easy to see.

Mike has a gift for articulating issues derived from the synthesis of large amounts of data. He designs spaces across campus typologies–including academic buildings, student life, athletics and more–that not only solve the problems clients identify but also address emerging issues. He’s skilled at evaluating the complicated sites and contextual factors often present on university campuses and developing solutions that garner consensus. Mike is drawn by the opportunity to meet students’ needs by creating spaces that allow them to feel connected to a physical environment that delivers functionality and elegance.
