Our story

Some ideas, they just won’t quit. They keep us up at night. They emerge at the craziest times to ensure we can’t forget them. They inspire us on great days and long days alike. We can’t shake them loose because we’re not meant to...some ideas must be brought to life.

AMP exists for those un-quittable ideas and the remarkable people behind them. We all know there are better ways to do things. There are creative sparks that can become movements. There are paths untraveled we should absolutely explore. And, when our teammates surface those ideas, Amp is here to support them, nurture their creativity and help us all "go there."

What Amp's made possible

In a short time, Amp has helped CannonDesign launch exciting new products that elevate human health, redefine work experience, improve internal processes and accelerate discovery. Here's just a snapshot of Amp projects to date.

In the early days of the COVID pandemic, Amp helped our teammates develop a modular, scalable, customizable virus testing solution that could be placed on college campuses, outside workplaces, in community areas and numerous other settings.

Amp Development Team

While Amp and our company's innovation culture are empowered by all of us, specific individuals can apply to be part of the Amp Development Team on an annual basis. Those selected our steward's of Amp's mission and seek to help individuals and teams develop, nurture and advance emerging ideas into services, products and solutions that can reshape our world and business.
