Through the Care Reimagined program, Valleywise Health set out to transform the healthcare delivery model for the residents and communities across Maricopa County. As an active partner within the Integrated Program Management Office (IPMO), Blue Cottage led the Programming, Operational Planning and Transition Planning services for this multi-year, multi-facility program. Each individual project had distinct phases of programming and operational planning to inform the design, review, and coordination with the design team to ensure alignment with operational intent and, ultimately, coordination of operational planning and training of staff to prepare for the transition into each new facility. 

Seeking to create a standardized and exceptional patient experience across all Valleywise Health facilities, Blue Cottage worked with the health system to improve efficiencies and drive standardization wherever possible. Blue Cottage partnered with system leaders to develop a desired future state vision and plans, models of care, staff education incorporating templated tools and behavioral models that would be embedded in the way staff and patients interact at every step throughout their patient experience, in each Valleywise Health facility. Creating this standard involved in-depth visioning, process mapping and programming that aligned building flow with the desired patient flow, as well as final training and education of staff to position the health system to achieve the transformational goals of the program.
