ABOUT THE ROLE

This position will position will be an integral part of multi-disciplinary design teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO 
  • Manage the digital design process and computational modeling for healthcare, education, commercial, & civic facilities including conceptualizing & preparing design sketches
  • Utilize computational designs to prepare programmatic data analysis & iterative conceptualizations
  • Coordinate spatial organization strategies
  • Oversee preparation of design visualizations & animations using Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, Maxwell, & V-Ray
  • Oversee preparation of physical models & 3D printed models using CURA
  • Prepare models for energy & daylighting performance analysis
  • Coordinate engineering systems with engineers
  • Review existing buildings and potentials for material reuse & LEED points calculations
  • Finalize and present design presentations to clients
  • Supervise and train entry-level Architects

ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Architecture degree
  • Must have 4 year’s of experience in the following areas:
    • Manage the digital design process and computational modeling for healthcare, education, commercial, & civic facilities including conceptualizing & preparing design sketches
    • Utilize computational designs to prepare programmatic data analysis & iterative conceptualizations
    • Coordinate spatial organization strategies
    • Oversee preparation of design visualizations & animations using Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, Maxwell, & V-Ray
    • Oversee preparation of physical models & 3D printed models using CURA
    • Prepare models for energy & daylighting performance analysis
    • Coordinate engineering systems with engineers
    • Review existing buildings and potentials for material reuse & LEED points calculations
    • Finalize and present design presentations to clients
    • Supervise and train entry-level Architects.
  • Or alternatively, a Bachelor of Architecture degree and 4 year’s of experience assisting lead architects with project development from concept design through construction administration for healthcare, education, commercial, and civic facilities, including preparing 3-D modeling and rendering using Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, Dynamo, Maxwell, & V-Ray.
