We’re thrilled to share Tom Garigen has joined CannonDesign as the Office Practice Leader (OPL) of our Buffalo and Pittsburgh offices.

Widely respected and well-known as a community and industry leader, Tom will focus on the growth and development of our practice in Western New York and Western Pennsylvania—forging successful client relationships, mentoring staff, creating new partnerships across our core markets, and helping advance our brand and presence in the region.

Tom joins CannonDesign from Wendel Architects and Engineers where he was the Director of Business Development. He led Wendel in refining its business development processes, coaching client leaders and supporting the firm in winning significant work across the education, healthcare, hospitality and engineering sectors.

A lifelong Buffalonian, Tom has immense love for the city and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities the region faces.

Testimonials

  • Like many rust belt cities, Buffalo is experiencing a major economic resurgence. In the last decade, it’s transformed into a national destination for business, industry and culture. CannonDesign has played a leading role in this transformation, and I’m looking forward to building on that success and helping our region do better for all.
