With an audience of architects, design professionals and industry experts from the AIA’s New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania chapters, CEO Brad Lukanic will talk about “How the profession is evolving; universal signals for breaking new ground,” on Oct. 18, 3:30 p.m., at the AIA Tri-State Conference in Albany, New York.
About Brad’s session
The world is witnessing robust and profound changes evoking transformations at a rapid pace, and the architecture/engineering/construction landscape is not immune – whether we’re ready or not. The design industry’s impact and evolution with technology, machine learning and artificial intelligence defining the profession can’t occur in solitude if we want to remain relevant and as architects focus on society’s health and safety.
Brad will discuss challenging the AEC industry’s status quo, the predefined built worlds and the silos created within, while pushing beyond parameters of “what is” to “what can be.”
