Briana N. Jones, CDT
I believe, as architects, it is our civic duty to show all youth that the future narrative and face of a design firm of choice starts and ends with them; girls and children of color included. I am forever honored and inspired by opportunities at CannonDesign to construct and develop impactful experiences with the emerging leaders of the world through design. For ultimately, people may not always remember your name, but a positive experience, inspired by their surroundings, will never be forgotten, and is thus our best measure of success within the built environment.
Briana was born and raised in Prince George’s County Maryland and graduated with Bachelors in Architecture from Syracuse University in 2015. Since graduating, she has worked on projects for health, education, science and technology, and sports and recreation, and has immersed herself in a myriad of community engagement and diversity and inclusion efforts at CannonDesign. Briana is passionate about mentoring youth about the built environment, and welcomes all mentorship opportunities from colleagues at work. As an emerging leader in the Baltimore office, Briana’s pursuit to be on The NEXT Council was driven by the desire to grow as a valued subject matter expert within the firm who inspires change along that journey; what better way to start than by engaging now with some of the best talent in the A/E/C industry?
